Language Testing and Certification in an International Context

Introduction. The aim of this research is to define what role continuous assessment plays in foreign language teaching. We analysed some the most frequent communication and mistakes by our sample students their written communications at B2 level. believe these correlations have yet be closely studied context teaching process since there a significant increase number international entering Slovak universities for programs implemented language. also researched current interest non-Slovak university verifying competencies through ECL testing compared period before 2019 correlation with writing skills preparation. Materials Methods. Our included 200 randomly selected firstyear University 2019‒2022 various fields study age scale from 17 42. were Russia, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic. applied content analysis concerning morphological, syntactic writing-accuracy points view. used statistical methods on side students. Results. results delivered that errors are typographical, mainly related spelling, punctuation paraphrasing; therefore, we can claim learning, it significantly beneficial focus formal correctness, i.e. consistent acquisition grammar system. identified sociolinguistic adequacy problematic, style, clear statements formulations, adherence text composition. demonstrated studentsʼ 2019. Discussion Conclusion.
